A Message From Bill Clinton
Bill Clinton sent the following message to DCCC supporters:
Dear Friend,

We are just 75 days away
from a historic election where Democrats have the opportunity to take
back the White House and win strong Democratic Majorities in Congress.
I've stood in the House chamber to deliver the State of the
Union Address. I've looked out over that sea of faces - some friendly,
others not - knowing how critical Congressional support for bold ideas
and strong policies is for our future.
Believe me, the best thing we could do to help Barack Obama when he is
president is to elect more change-oriented Democrats to Congress on
November 4th.
You can start your personal role today by contributing to the
Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC)'s Denver to November
campaign before their critical FEC reporting deadline August 31st and if you give today, your gift will be matched 2-to-1 by House Democrats.
All eyes will be on fundraising totals after the Democratic Convention
ends next week - Democrats have to make a strong showing for these
final days from Denver to November.
Contribute $15, $25 or more to our Denver to November campaign and your gift will be matched 2-to-1 by House Democrats.
We must never underestimate the commitment of the hard-core
Republican operatives who will come after our candidates. Republican
attack groups - even one led by people like Tom DeLay, and another
advised by Karl Rove - are prepared to spend nearly $250 million to
defeat Democrats.
We know they will attack our candidates with everything
they've got, so we urgently need your support before the August 31st
deadline. There is no time to wait.
Contribute $15, $25 or more to our Denver to November campaign and your gift will be matched 2-to-1 by House Democrats.
Thank you again for all of your hard work during this
high-stakes election. I am counting on you to help pull us through to
victory.
Sincerely,
Bill Clinton
P.S. You and I know we cannot let the Republicans and John McCain succeed at giving this country another Bush third term. That's
why we need your urgent contribution before our FEC reporting deadline
August 31st - we must show we have the resources to fight back.

We donated because of the request by Bill Clinton. Hillary is held in our highest respect and we were/are ardent
supporters. Bill Clinton was our most effective president in decades concerning needs of the middle class, elderly/retired, college students, education, and those below poverty line, etc. He was respected around the world by leaders and the people. I’d like to see the same respect given to both Clintons by their own party. You can thank them for our donation and those of many of our friends!
Dr. President Clinton,
My family and I have been democrats and supporters of yours and Hillary’s for many years. Our career Marine Corps family changed party in 1960.
We are convinced, more than ever, that the Democratic party has the interest of our country and our working people in the forefront and we will continue to make every effort to support the party. Our band, HEART, is currently on tour for the summer and we are sorry to miss out on local doings in our hometowns of Seattle and Los Angeles. Please keep up the good work. . .our hearts are with you! Mary Lynn Wilson
I’m going to hold off to see how well you (especially ) and Hillary urge everyone, including her supporters who are miffed she didn’t get the nomination, to get behind the Obama/Biden ticket this week at the convention. You need to give a strong message that not voting for Obama is a vote against Hillary also. If nothing else, we just can’t afford to have a mixed up Republican like McCain appointing any more conservative Supreme Court justices. I just can’t see how Hillary’s diehard supporters, especially the women, can’t see that danger.

Let us not forget the blunders, lies, conniving, scandals and outrages that have taken place in the last eight years. Hypocrisy and divisiveness have reached new heights during this time, while our infrastructure has been decimated to the detriment of the public. Yes, George W. Bush will be remembered in history, but probably not as he would like.
Will you all stop playing us for suckers and end the Emperor’s wars or are you gonna fuçk around for another hundred years?
Dear President Clinton,
Thank you for all you have done for everyone. I wonder how long it will take Barack and Joe Biden to get the country out of this mess and back to where you had it. I have so much respect for you and Hilary.
God Bless
Shirlee
