LA-06: Will Woody Jenkins Pay His Taxes This Year?

Today is tax day -- will this be the year career politician Woody Jenkins pays his taxes on time?

DCCC Press: 

"Woody Jenkins has been late to pay his taxes almost every year since 1990 -- will this be the year he decides to follow the law?" asked Kyra Jennings, Southern Regional Press Secretary for the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. "Working families in Louisiana are already struggling to pay sky-high gas and groceries prices, yet they will responsibly pay their tax bill today. Will Woody Jenkins pay his taxes on time for once, or will he continue to act like he's above the law?"

Since 1990, Jenkins has had at least 20 tax liens totaling more than $340,000 filed against his company for a failure to pay taxes on time. The vast majority of the liens were prompted by Jenkins' failure to pay employee withholding tax, including his employees' income tax to the federal government.
