Madeleine Albright sent the following message to DCCC supporters:

After eight years of Republican foreign policy mistakes, President Obama is attempting to restore America's international reputation and leadership.
Not surprisingly, he is running into opposition from the same misguided politicians who led America into disaster under President George W. Bush.
We need to speak up, fight back, and give our new president the support he must have to succeed.
The DCCC has set a goal of $1 million to raise in grassroots support before the June 30th FEC Deadline to show the world that we are standing with President Obama.
In the world of public affairs, the amount of money Democrats raise will be seen as a referendum on President Obama's leadership.
Stand with President Obama and contribute $5, $10 or more before June 30th. Every dollar you give, Speaker Pelosi and other House Democrats will give two dollars of their own to show our strength.*
House Democrats are determined to exceed their million dollar goal to show the entire world how united and committed we are to President Obama's leadership as he moves America forward into the future.
Although the president has been in office less than six months, he has already made significant progress in restoring America's standing in the world. President Obama has begun the long struggle to reclaim America's role as a force for peace, freedom and prosperity.
