- Republican Representative Michelle Bachmann (MN) says the Speaker's speech didn't kill the bill. "I want to assure you that was not the case. We are not babies who suck our thumbs. We have very principled reasons for voting no." [Roll Call, 09-29-08]

- In truth, few Republicans were on the floor to hear that speech, and those who were there showed no signs of discomfort, as they often do. Republican leaders backed away within hours, conceding they never had the votes they had promised. [Washington Post, 9-30-08]
This morning DCCC Chairman Chris Van Hollen issued a challenge to former Republican Representative Joe Scarborough, the host of MSNBC's Morning Joe, to find a single House Republican who changed his or her vote because of a speech by House Speaker Nancy Pelosi.
"I challenge you: find one Republican to come on this show to say they switched their vote because of a speech by Nancy Pelosi that talked about how Bush's policies contributed to the situation we are in today. You find me one Republican, because I can tell you, their constituents would seriously question their judgment on a vote of national consequence.

What about to this situation? Do we think, new country leader would implement new rules in all government sectors and institutions?
As we can see, payday loan industry has been the main target of some politicians from all sides. What could be the reason behind? They are searching an increase in voter support disregarding what’s best for their citizens. Several states including Georgia, North Carolina, and Oregon has successfully wiped out the payday loan industry. In some states, foreclosures, bankruptcy filing and bounced checks has raise tremendously after the cash advance product was done away with. Several governors continue to try and follow this suit. Possibly, there will be an increased in unemployment rates, debts and foreclosure.

A little financial help from time to time is unavoidable. How about those who do not have the best credit history to borrow money from a typical lender? For that reason, there are no credit check loans easily obtainable at Payday Loans . Sadly, some of the politicians are passing their legislation. Many of these laws are based on the supposition that payday lenders are run by the same principles as illegal loan sharks. Please don’t be mislead by the facts, and inform yourself, family, and friends on the right to financial liberty. If that sounds like you, you already know that not having the option to borrow money can bring you even more financial trouble than you’re already experiencing.
