While leading a delegation from Fairfield County at the March for Women’s Lives in Washington, D.C., on April 25, I heard that our congressman, U.S. Rep. Christopher Shays, R-Bridgeport, showed up, wearing a pro-choice T-shirt (Advocate news story, April 26).
What chutzpah!
Shays is not pro-choice. He weakened a woman’s right to choose when he voted for the Partial Birth Abortion Ban Act of 2003.
