Critz Holds 10 Point Lead Over Keith Rothfus in New PA-12 Poll
The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee today released a new Anzalone Liszt Research poll that shows Mark Critz (PA-12) with a ten point lead over repeat congressional challenger Keith Rothfus. Critz is earning 50 percent of the vote, making him well positioned to win re-election.
Both Critz and Senator Bob Casey garner at least 50 percent of the vote. Republicans in Congress are extremely unpopular in the district, with 51 percent holding an unfavorable opinion against just 31 percent viewing them favorably.
“It’s clear that Mark Critz has established himself as a strong independent leader who will stand up for middle class Western Pennsylvanians,” said Josh Schwerin, Northeast Press Secretary at the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. “Voters are rejecting millionaire corporate lawyer Keith Rothfus who wants to abandon the middle class by slashing Medicare while giving tax breaks to millionaires and corporations shipping jobs overseas.”
