The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) today announced five Members are being added to the Frontline program, chaired by Congressman Jim Himes (CT.)

“Make no mistake, this cycle Democrats are on offense across the country. Critical to the DCCC’s successful Drive to 25, the seats needed to win the Majority, is making sure our battle tested incumbents have the tools they need to win,” said Chairman Steve Israel. “Under the leadership of Congressman Jim Himes, the Frontline Program ensures that Members have the money, message, mobilization, and management to be successful and continue fighting to create jobs, stand up for families in their districts, and reignite the American dream.”

Unlike previous cycles, Frontline Membership will change this cycle as a result of redistricting.

The Frontline Program

The Frontline Program is a partnership between the DCCC and Members which lays the groundwork for the 2012 cycle by supporting and expanding their fundraising and outreach operations. Frontline Members must sign a memorandum of understanding that requires Members to meet aggressive fundraising goals, accelerate volunteer and recruitment efforts, and increase their online networking.
