DCCC Launches New Ads About Speaker Boehner Rewarding Illinois Republicans for Putting Millionaires

Speaker Boehner is in Illinois today to reward Congressman Robert Dold and Congresswoman Judy Biggert for their loyalty to the Tea Party agenda in Congress that puts millionaires before the middle class and Medicare. In response, the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee today launched automated phone calls in these two Illinois Congressional districts to expose Republicans’ out-of-touch agenda that puts seniors and the middle class at risk.

The DCCC will launch automated phone calls about Congressman Bob Dold and Congresswoman Judy Biggert to hold them accountable for standing with Speaker Boehner and millionaires instead of fighting for middle class families in Illinois.

Here is an example of the automated phone call running in Congresswoman Biggert’s district.  The same script is running in Congressman Dold’s district.

Hi this is Julie calling on behalf of the DCCC.

Congressman Judy Biggert is sure making someone happy in Washington – her Republican Party boss, Republican Speaker of the House John Boehner. So now Speaker Boehner is coming here to Illinois to raise her money. Congresswoman Biggert votes as Speaker Boehner wants even when it means cutting Medicare just to protect tax breaks for billionaires.

Now Speaker Boehner is showing his appreciation for Congresswoman Biggert’s loyalty by coming to town and rewarding her. Tell Congresswoman Biggert to end his vacation and get back to work for the middle class.
