DCCC Launches New Phone Call to Elect John Hernandez

The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee launched a new automated phone call encouraging voters to elect Democrat John Hernandez (CA-21) citing that Hernandez would be the first Mexican American Member of Congress to represent the district, which has a Hispanic voting age population of 66%. In addition to creating jobs and protecting Medicare, Hernandez would support the DREAM Act. On the other hand, his Republican opponent David Valadao voted against the California DREAM Act in the State Assembly.
Below is the script of the call:

Hello, this is Maria from the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee calling to tell you about the enormous opportunity our community has on November 6th. We can elect the district’s first Mexican American to represent us in Congress - John Hernandez.
John will stand up for our community, fight to create good jobs and preserve Medicare for our seniors. And unlike his Republican opponent, John supports the DREAM Act because he knows education is the key to a better life for the Central Valley’s youth.
Remember to vote John Hernandez on November 6th.  To find your polling location, call 1-800-345-VOTE for English and 1-800-232-VOTA for Spanish. Or visit
