DCCC Releases First Minnesota TV Ad Slamming Congressman Cravaack for Not Valuing Education

The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee today released its first Independent Expenditure TV ad in Minnesota slamming Congressman Chip Cravaack’s Tea Party priorities in Washington. Congressman Chip Cravaack supports eliminating the Department of Education, and he voted to slash education funds and cut Pell Grants for 23,000 Minnesota students just to give millionaires more tax breaks.  The DCCC TV ad, “Tradition” starts airing today.

Tradition

Script of DCCC IE AD “Tradition”:

Voiceover:      In Minnesota, we have a tradition of valuing education.

That’s why Chip Cravaack’s priorities are so wrong.

Cravaack voted to cut Pell Grants for 23,000 Minnesota college students.

He voted to cut overall education funding by $115 billion. And Cravaack supported eliminating the Department of Education.

All while voting to give millionaires a new tax cut.

Chip Cravaack.  He’s just wrong for Minnesota.
