DCCC Releases “Hurting Us in Washington” TV Ad Targeting Congressman Denham for Accepting Pay Raises

The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee is launching an Independent Expenditure campaign TV ad hitting Congressman Jeff Denham (CA-10) for accepting lavish gifts from lobbyists and taking big pay raises as a State Senator before going to Congress and voting for Paul Ryan’s budget that ends Medicare. Denham took $20,000 in pay raises during his time in Sacramento, but the budget he now supports would raise health care costs for seniors by $6,400 while giving more tax cuts to millionaires. The DCCC ad begins running today.

Voiceover:  In tough times, is a career politician like Jeff Denham the right person to look out for Valley families?

In Sacramento, Denham wasn't looking out for us when he took gifts from lobbyists and nearly $20,000 in pay raises.

And in Congress, Denham voted for a plan that would “essentially end Medicare”… costing seniors $6400 more each year.

Career politician Jeff Denham.  Helped himself in Sacramento. Hurting us in Washington.
