DCCC Releases New TV Ad, “Obvious” Showing Jason Plummer Praising Plan That Ends Medicare
The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee today released a new Independent Expenditure TV ad attacking Jason Plummer for praising the Republican plan to end Medicare. Although the Plummer-Republican plan would make seniors negotiate with insurance companies for coverage and pay $6,400 more for Medicare, Plummer said that the benefits of the plan are “pretty obvious.” Under the plan, millionaires like Plummer would get a brand new tax break even though the middle class gets squeezed. This is the DCCC's third TV ad in Illinois 12th Congressional District.
When he praised the plan to end traditional Medicare…
…Jason Plummer said the benefits are “pretty obvious.”
You see, even though it makes seniors negotiate with insurance companies for coverage
… and pay sixty-four hundred dollars more every year
…it gives a massive new tax break to millionaires like Plummer.
That might be the obvious choice for Plummer, but ending the Medicare guarantee is wrong choice for the middle-class.
