DCCC Releases “One of the Crowd” TV Ad Targeting Congressman Gibson for Ending Medicare

The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee is launching an Independent Expenditure campaign TV ad hitting Congressman Chris Gibson (NY-19) on his support of Paul Ryan’s budget that ends Medicare, raising health care costs for seniors to pay for more tax breaks for millionaires.  The DCCC ad will begin running Thursday.

The non-partisan Congressional Budget Office found that the Ryan plan would raise health care costs for seniors by $6,400 while giving more tax cuts to millionaires.

The latest Siena polling shows that with Congressman Paul Ryan on the ticket, Mitt Romney is trailing by nearly 30 points in New York.  Speaker Boehner has said this will be a major drag on New York Republicans like Congressman Gibson, and that they are “frankly pretty vulnerable.”

Script of DCCC IE AD “One of the Crowd”:

Voiceover: Chris Gibson said he was different.
