DCCC Releases “Payday” TV Ad Targeting Congressional Candidate Jonathan “Payday” Paton
The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee is launching an Independent Expenditure campaign TV ad hitting Republican congressional candidate Jonathan Paton (AZ-01) for lobbying on behalf of the predatory payday lending industry that takes advantage of seniors and hard working Arizonans. Payday Paton even fought for payday lenders while he was serving in the State Legislature, and pushed an initiative that attempted to trick voters into preserving loopholes for predatory lenders.
