DCCC Releases TV Ad Highlighting Congressman Joe Heck’s Extreme Record

The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee is launching the first Independent Expenditure campaign TV ad hitting Congressman Joe Heck (NV-03) for his extreme agenda that doesn’t stand up for Nevada’s women. The ad, “Heck No,” outlines Heck’s extreme opposition to women’s rights in decisions about their pregnancy, his opposition to requiring insurance companies to cover the life-saving HPV vaccine and his vote against funding for Planned Parenthood, which provides cancer screenings for more than 700,000 women a year.

Script of  DCCC IE Ad “Heck No” (NV-03)

Voiceover:  It’s a simple vaccine to prevent cervical cancer for women, it saves lives

But Joe Heck voted against requiring insurance companies to pay for it

He says that women get cancer from engaging in risky behavior

Joe Heck even opposes a women’s right to choose

And voted against funding for Planned Parenthood, which provides cancer screenings for over 700,000 women a year

Joe Heck? Heck no. He’s way too extreme for Nevada
