McNerney Leads Gill by Nine Points in New DCCC Poll

The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee today released a recent Global Strategy Group poll showing Jerry McNerney leading Republican Ricky Gill by nine points. McNerney received 47% of the vote over Gill’s 38% in the head to head. Additionally, McNerney is more well-liked with 8% more voters viewing him favorably than unfavorably. Gill, on the other hand, is viewed unfavorably by almost as many voters as view him favorably (25% favorable/23% unfavorable).

“Jerry McNerney is in the lead because voters know he’s the one who fights for California’s seniors, veterans and middle class, and Ricky Gill has never even held a full-time job,” said Amber Moon of the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. “While Ricky Gill has spent his entire campaign inflating his resume to fool voters, Jerry McNerney has been working to create real jobs in the San Joaquin Valley.”
