Roraback Ready to Receive Marching Orders From Washington Republicans
After winning the Republican Primary race to the right wing of his party, conservative Andrew Roraback is ready to get his marching orders from Washington Republicans including the plan to end Medicare and raise seniors' health care costs to pay for a tax break for millionaires. Roraback said he's received many calls this week from Republican party insiders who are "eager" to lend a hand.
"While running into the embrace of conservative Republicans and their plan to end Medicare, Andrew Roraback is leaving behind Connecticut’s middle class and seniors," said Stephen Carter of the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. "After saying he shares many views with the Tea Party, Roraback can't be trusted to be a moderate voice for Connecticut."
