DCCC Releases New Ad Highlighting Career Albany Politician Tediscos' Abuse of Taxpayer Funded Perks
The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee released a new television ad called "Ride" today to highlight career Albany politician Jim Tedisco's abuse of taxpayer funded perks.
Career Alabany politician Jim Tedisco has racked up $21,000 in gasoline expenses and billed the New York State for 230 per diems, even though Tedsico lives only 17 miles from Albany. Tedisco had no problem sticking taxpayers with the bill and raising taxes to cover his expenses; the career Albany politician voted to raise taxes 221 times over the course of his 26 year career.
The script for "Ride" follows:
"Politician Jim Tedisco's taken taxpayers for quite a ride.
"Driving around in a state-owned SUV, charging us 21 grand for gas.
"And in just one year, Tedisco billed taxpayers for 230 of per diems, money designed for officials traveling from far away. But, he lives just 17 miles from Albany.
"For 26 years in Albany, Jim Tedisco's done well for himself. But what's he done for you?
