Coffman said he would tell us who he’s voting for BEFORE ballots go out – he lied
Coffman owes the voters an apology
Congressman Mike Coffman (R-Shameless) led everyone to believe that he would finally be honest and tell his constituents who he’s voting for in the presidential election by the time ballots went out. He violated that pledge. Ballots went out on October 17th and over a hundred thousand people in Colorado’s 6th District have already voted.
But it gets more pathetic and craven…
It has been widely reported that Coffman is increasingly unlikely to cast his vote in the presidential election at all – the most gutless path he could possibly take considering he is a sitting member of Congress. Here is the line that is like to go down in the Hall of Shame for political cowardice: “I don’t know if I’ll vote for president.”
“Congressman Coffman owes the voters an immediate explanation for why he lied about the presidential election and why he thinks it’s okay to take for granted the right to vote that so many have fought for,” said DCCC Spokesman Tyler Law. “Coffman waxes poetic about transparency and honesty but he’s really just another dishonest and craven politician. His lack of moral courage throughout this election has been astounding.”
