“Astoundingly, over 150 House Republicans voted against keeping the government open, apparently preferring to play politics with women’s health over doing their jobs. Only a few days after Speaker Boehner’s ousting, this is yet another example that the House Republicans have become too extreme to govern responsibly, let alone function to make hardworking Americans’ lives better,” Meredith Kelly of the DCCC.
