Today, the DCCC Independent Expenditure released a radio ad that will hit Montana airwaves immediately in order to highlight Greg Gianforte’s assault of an innocent reporter. The ads will run in addition to the IE’s digital ads described below, and the Facebook ads deployed late last night.
The tagline lays out the decision before voters: “If Greg Gianforte could be sentenced to jail, should he really be elected to Congress?”

“Last night, Greg Gianforte disqualified himself from the honor of representing Montanans in Congress. Gianforte has been charged with assault – his only option at this point is to accept responsibility and end his campaign. As he continues to lay low and hope people don’t see the news, the DCCC will do everything possible to make sure Montanans know the truth,” said Meredith Kelly of the DCCC.
