30 Days of Silence, 1 Felon Contributor, 0 Answers from Jim Tedisco

For more than 30 days, career Albany politician Jim Tedisco has ducked and dodged questions about his felon contributor.  Even though Tedisco had no problem requesting that the judge hand out a lighter sentence for his contributor who was convicted of mortgage fraud, the career Albany politician has spent the past month refusing to come clean with voters with answers they deserve about the shady relationship.

"Career Albany politician Jim Tedisco puts the interests of a felon contributor before what's best for Upstate families and then dodges questions about it," said Jennifer Crider, Communications Director for the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee.  "Voters deserve to know why Tedisco used his position in the State Assembly to help a felon contributor.  Tedisco owes it to voters to come clean about his shady past, the last thing Upstate families need is for a career Albany politician like Jim Tedisco to bring his felon-supporting ways to Washington."

Yesterday, the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee unveiled a new TV ad highlighting Tedisco's vote against middle class property tax relief and his support of a felon campaign contributor.
