Emanuel Response to Boehner’s Partisan Attacks

John Boehner: “I listen to my Democrats friends, and I wonder if they are more interested in protecting the terrorists than protecting the American people.”

“I wonder if John Boehner is more interested in protecting his majority than protecting the American people. Instead of coming up with new ways to scare Americans into voting Republican, George Bush and John Boehner ought to doing what needs to be done to secure our country. After taking their eye off Osama bin Laden and refusing to pass the 9/11 Commission recommendations, it’s time for a new direction on national security,” said Congressman Rahm Emanuel, Chairman of the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. “One casualty Americans would have gladly accepted in the war on terror is partisanship, but obviously Republicans disagree.”
