Congressman Latham Aims for 20 Years in Congress

DCCC statement on Congressman Tom Latham’s decision not to run for Senate:

“Congressman Tom Latham will find a cold Iowa reception when he tries to sell another two years of this Tea Party Congress and its gridlock and chaos – especially in a district carried by President Obama in 2012,” said Brandon Lorenz of the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. “Iowans are ready for a representative who will protect Medicare and strengthen middle class jobs rather than someone like Congressman Latham, who has made a career of looking out for himself and his special interest friends.”
