DCCC Chairman Steve Israel’s Statement on the Election Prevention Act (H.R. 3094)

DCCC Chairman Steve Israel released the following statement about House Republicans’ latest effort to undermine American workers and working families.

“Instead of focusing on jobs and strengthening the middle class, House Republicans are continuing their War on American Workers and Working Families. The Republicans’ latest effort to undermine workers would deny them of their right to free and fair elections to form a union. 

“Hardworking men and women built this country and are the key to reigniting the American dream and growing the economy. American workers and families have stood together against Republicans’ ideological attacks — most recently in the Ohio elections — and as long as Republicans continue to attack working families, voters will strongly reject them.”
