DCCC Launches Powerful “Backlash” Web Video
The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) today released a powerful new web video, “Backlash,” to highlight news clips and scenes from town halls and protests all around the country that show Republican Members of Congress facing outraged constituents for choosing to protect millionaires and Big Oil instead of Medicare and seniors.
“Backlash” is part of the DCCC’s “Accountability August” grassroots and paid campaign to hold vulnerable House Republicans accountable for “choosing Millionaires over Medicare.” Before recess began, DCCC Chairman Steve Israel predicted August would be extremely hot for House Republicans as they try to defend the indefensible.

As part of the “Drive to 25” campaign to win the House, in August the DCCC held 44 Republicans accountable for their bad budget choices with radio ads, billboards, gas station advertising, automated phone calls, community meetings, door-to-door canvasses and phone banks.
