DCCC Statement on Representative Tom Latham’s Second Quarter Fundraising

In response to Representative Tom Latham, who moved to run in Iowa’s new third Congressional District, the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee released the following statement:

“Representative Tom Latham has made clear that selling out Iowa Middle Class families and seniors by voting to end Medicare has its perks,” said Haley Morris of the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. “Washington special interests are falling in line to ensure Representative Latham remains a cozy ally in Congress. No amount of resources can change Representative Latham’s support for an extreme agenda that ends Medicare by giving tax breaks to millionaires and Big Oil.”
