Former NRCC Chairman Tom Davis: Democrats Could Win the House This Year

Leading Republicans are admitting that Democrats could win the House this year. Today former NRCC Chairman Tom Davis says that Democrats could win the 25 seats needed to win the House if House Republicans continue their partisanship and obstruction. Last week, former RNC Chairman Michael Steele said it.

Former NRCC Chairman Tom Davis: “For Democrats to take 25 seats, they will need a wave. […] Continued polarization and obstruction could create such a wave.” [The Hill, 1/24/12]

Last week, former RNC Chairman Michael Steele: "Twenty-five seats will be tough, I think, for the GOP to keep in an environment where if their message doesn't click, their momentum isn't there. It could be very, very hard.” [MSNBC, 1/20/12]
