John Guedry: A Long Career of Putting The Banking Industry First

Having served as Nevada Director of City National "Bank to the Stars" and as a member of City National's exclusive executive committee, president and CEO of the Business Bank of Nevada, and president of the Nevada Bankers Association, one thing's for sure about John Guedry: he's a banking industry insider with a history of putting banks first.

In fact, whether it's decrying federal spending while endorsing his bank's decision to take federal bailout money or lobbying state officials on behalf of Nevada banks, John Guedry has cultivated an extensive record of putting the needs and interests of the banking industry above those of ordinary Nevadans.

"Industry insider John Guedry's longtime advocacy and lobbying on behalf of banking interests doesn't square with the needs of 3rd district residents facing concerns about possible home foreclosure and unemployment," said Andy Stone, Western Regional Press Secretary for the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee.
