Nancy Johnson: "Good Game"
TEXT of WEB AD:
Good Game
NJ: You know, politics is a lot like baseball. You gotta be able to step up to the plate and deliver.
Narrator: Nancy Johnson talks a good game, but her record is hardly a homerun.
NJ: I oppose privatizing social security.
Narrator: In fact, Nancy Johnson told the National Taxpayers Union that she supports private social security accounts.
NJ: The cost of medicine is just too high.
Narrator: But the Medicare prescription drug law Nancy Johnson helped write forbids the federal government from negotiating discounts with drug companies. That increases costs for both taxpayers and seniors. And just a few weeks ago, Nancy Johnson switched her position on penalties for seniors who havent enrolled yet in Medicares drug plan. After supporting penalties for years, now she opposes them.
NJ: I have a reputation as one of the most independent members of the United States Congress.
Narrator: In fact, Nancy Johnson votes in lockstep with her party almost 80% of the time. Nancy Johnsons words may sound like a homerun, but her record is a lot more like a strike out. Call Nancy Johnson. Tell her to step up to the plate for Connecticut, for a change
