(Washington, D.C.) Ed Perlmutter, Democratic candidate for Congress in Colorado, will deliver the national Democratic Radio Address this Saturday, August 12, 2006. Perlmutter will address the crucial role that Social Security plays in the retirement security of Americas seniors and outline his commitment to protecting Social Security from the privatization scheme supported by his novice opponent Rick ODonnell, the hand-picked nominee of national Republicans.
What about my position today on Social Security do they not like? Rick ODonnell, Rocky Mountain News, August 9, 2006
Rick ODonnell just doesnt get that what Colorado families dont like about his plan to privatize Social Security is that it will cut guaranteed benefits for hard-working Coloradoans, said DCCC Chairman Rahm Emanuel.
