Principled and Independent? Nope, Scozzafava is A Loyal Partisan

Albany Politician'sParty Bosses Commit Her to Voting Along Party Lines 95% of the Time

This morning a Washington, DC paper reported that Albany politician DedeScozzafava's Republican Party bosses have committed her to toeing theWashington Republican Party's line 95 percent of the time in a desperate attempt andshore up political support for her campaign.  So much for the "principled"and "independent" candidate that Assemblywoman Scozzafava claims to be.

In addition to throwing the best interests of her districtand constituents out the window in favor of partisanship, the Albanypolitician's pandering only reinforces the fact that she only looks out forherself and will do anything to help her politically.

"It's clear that Albany politician Dede Scozzafava's realpriority is toeing her party's line and serving her own politics, not the bestinterests of her constituents," said Shripal Shah,Northeast Regional Press Secretary for the Democratic Congressional CampaignCommittee. "Her rhetoric on being an independent and principled representativefor her district has no credibility and her record of supporting the recklessBush tax cuts, deficit spending, and more taxes make it clear that she's notthe kind of leader Upstate New York needs."
