DCCC Statement On TRMPAC Indictment
"I guess it should be no surprise that TRMPAC – a political action committee closely associated with Republican Leader Tom DeLay – has been indicted. It seems almost impossible to keep track of how many of Tom DeLay’s friends and associates have been indicted," said DCCC communications director Bill Burton. "Texans are sick and tired of the fact that they have to read about Tom DeLay having to stand up against more ethics charges instead of standing up for Texas families in Congress. Next November, Southeast Texans will have a choice whether they want to continue to be represented by a Congressman who puts his own special interests above the values and priorities of the working families he represents."
