Field Director

Job Description

Campaign field programs will be run by a field director. The field director will be responsible for overseeing design and implementation of all aspects of the field program; managing field staff which may include a canvass director and organizers; in accordance with the campaign manager, oversee political outreach to local party committees and their leadership; manage the relationship between the campaign and the DCCC field department; lead all volunteer recruitment and scheduling efforts; work with the campaign manager to secure additional office space, staging locations, and phonebanks as needed; ensure all data is entered smoothly and immediately into the VAN from both the paid canvass program and volunteer phonebanks; ultimately, serve as the final voice in all campaign field operations.
