Repeal & Ripoff by the Numbers: Higher Premiums, Less Coverage

**Similar releases were sent to all targeted House Republicans**

Yesterday, the nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office scored the Senate version of the Republican Repeal and Ripoff health care bill and it’s as big a problem as ever for Kansas and Rep. Kevin Yoder. Under this bill, Kansas would see:

  • $866 premium increases in 2018
  • 105,315 residents lose private insurance coverage
  • $94,783,218 cost increases for hospitals due to uncompensated care

“Republicans in Washington are responsible for the health care mess and Kansas families will hold Congressman Yoder responsible for the higher costs and loss of coverage caused by the reckless Republican repeal,” said DCCC spokesperson Rachel Irwin. “There is nowhere Rep. Yoder can hide from this bill and the disastrous effects it will have on Kansas families.”
