On the eve of Stewart Mills III’s endorsement by the MN Republican Party, here’s a look back at some of the “highlights” of Stewart’s time in politics:
- Said it was “personally offensive” that he should pay his fair share of taxes, earning him the nickname “Mitt 2.0”
- Was caught on camera licking a woman’s face – a woman who was not his wife
- Parroted the Koch brothers in an op-ed
- Launched his campaign at a Tea Party rally, despite denying being a Tea Partier
More recently, Mills:
- Accused Duluth construction workers of lying when lashing out at a local newspaper that reported those workers were grossly underpaid
- Was forced to walk back his own comments when he accused a sitting U.S. Congressman of funding terrorism
The antics are sure to keep coming folks, check back in frequently.
“Stewart Mills III may have changed his hair but he hasn’t let go of his Tea Party policies that would hurt the middle class while giving tax breaks to millionaires like himself who inherited their family’s money,” said DCCC spokeswoman Sacha Haworth. “Minnesota voters rejected Stewart Mills III last year because it’s clear he’s just another out-of-touch rich guy who finds it ‘personally offensive’ when he’s asked to pay his fair share.”
