SHOT: San Antonio Express-News: “U.S. Rep. Will Hurd kicked off a tour of his sprawling congressional district Sunday as constituents feasted on hot-fudge sundaes, chocolate-dipped soft-serve ice cream cones and banana splits at the Dairy Queen in this San Antonio suburb.”
CHASER: Tour started at Helotes Dairy Queen, located in Joaquin Castro’s 20th Congressional district, which ironically is the same district where Congressman Hurd lives.
“Even though Texas 23rd spans hundreds of miles, it appears Congressman Hurd couldn’t find a location in his own district to host the first stop of his district tour,” said Jermaine House of DCCC.
