With Cruz and Kasich out, Steve Knight finally has to face his worst fear: Knight is sharing the ticket with Donald Trump.
Trump’s new role as the Republican Party’s standard-bearer means Knight can’t hide any longer and must face the fallout at home as he tries to hold onto his competitive seat.
“Steve Knight’s nightmare of a Donald Trump candidacy has come true and he can’t sidestep the issue any longer,” said Barb Solish of the DCCC. “Like it or not, Knight must accept the harsh reality he’s sharing the ballot with Trump.”
