Congressman Coffman has endorsed Rubio (who is currently under fire from Republicans for being too extreme on choice and immigration). Given his endorsement, one would assume that Coffman can list plenty of Rubio accomplishments and areas where they agree.
But that certainly wasn’t the case with Rick Santorum. When asked about Rubio’s accomplishments, he said: “it’s hard to say there are accomplishments.”
Awkward.
“Senator Rubio has been increasingly exposed for an embarrassing lack of accomplishments and positions that are way far out of the mainstream,” said DCCC Spokesman Tyler Law. “Congressman Coffman joins him in holding extreme positions – including wanting to ban all abortions, redefine the legal definition of rape, and saying that the DREAM Act would be a nightmare, to name a few – so it makes sense that he would jump on the Rubio bandwagon. But can he actually list Rubio’s accomplishments?”
