In light of Representative Mike Coffman’s recent statements urging an independent investigation into President Trump’s ties to Russia, the DCCC is calling on Mike Coffman to take a stand and sign on to a bipartisan effort to do just that:
“If Mike Coffman is serious about calling for an investigation into President Trump’s ties to Russia, he should take action right now,” said DCCC spokeswoman Rachel Irwin. “There’s one simple way to do that: Mike Coffman can sign onto the discharge petition that is currently on the House floor, and bring the bill creating an independent commission up for a vote as soon as possible. The American people deserve answers and anything less is a sign that Mike Coffman is willing to put his Party before the people he represents.”
