Ahead of Fort Bend County Sheriff Troy Nehls’ “announcement” in Texas’ 22nd Congressional District tomorrow, DCCC spokesman Avery Jaffe issued the following statement:
“Texans are raising questions about the lengths Troy Nehls will go to get to Washington and voters in the 22nd District deserve answers. On Saturday, Nehls becomes the latest entrant into the Republican Party’s clown car of a primary, where Nehls and 14 other politicians are desperately crawling over each other to try and strip away health care, raise prescription drug costs and empower the D.C. special interests over working people.”
