Hold the House will benefit the Hold the House Victory Fund, a joint fundraising agreement between the DCCC and 30 Members and Candidates in critical House races from around the country. This series will be the single best way for supporters to invest in holding a Democratic Majority in the House.

Josh Harder | CA-10

Congressman Harder represents California’s 10th Congressional District in northern Central Valley, which is anchored in Modesto. He flipped this seat from red to blue in 2018 by defeating incumbent Republican Congressman Jeff Denham. Congressman Harder is a 5th-generation resident of the Central Valley. He worked his way through Stanford, Harvard Business School, and Harvard Kennedy School, earning degrees in business and public policy. Prior to his election to Congress, Congressman Harder spent the previous 10 years working with entrepreneurs and small businesses, helping them grow and create thousands of new jobs. He is also proud to have worked with the Gates Foundation and other nonprofits to organize small farmers in Kenya and Uganda. Congressman Harder lives in Turlock with his wife, Pam.

TJ Cox | CA-21

Congressman Cox represents California’s 21st Congressional District, which is located in the Central Valley and stretches from the Fresno suburbs in the north to Bakersfield in the south. He flipped this seat from red to blue in 2018 by defeating incumbent Republican Congressman David Valadao. The son of immigrants, Congressman Cox is a community development leader, healthcare advocate, and entrepreneur, and has invested and created hundreds of jobs in the Central Valley. His work has led to the development and opening of community health clinics, job-training facilities, clean energy plants and affordable housing. In CA-21 alone, community health clinics funded by Congressman Cox brought health care to 26,000 residents. Rep. Cox lives in Fresno with his wife, Kathleen Murphy, M.D., a pediatric intensive care physician, and their four children.

Gil Cisneros | CA-39

Congressman Cisneros represents California’s 39th Congressional District, which sits at the confluence of Los Angeles, Orange, and San Bernardino counties. He flipped this seat from red to blue by defeating Republican Young Kim following the retirement of incumbent Republican Congressman Ed Royce. The son of a public-school cafeteria worker and Vietnam veteran, Congressman Cisneros attended college on an R.O.T.C. scholarship and served our country as a naval officer for ten years. An education policy expert, he started a foundation to create more opportunities for local students and give back to his community after winning the lottery in 2010. Congressman Cisneros has worked extensively to strengthen schools and has established scholarships for underprivileged kids. He serves on the board of Michelle Obama’s college access initiative, Reach Higher.

Harley Rouda | CA-48

Congressman Rouda represents California’s 48th Congressional District, which encompasses Orange County’s coastal communities, including Seal Beach, Laguna Beach, and Aliso Viejo. In 2018, he flipped this seat from red to blue by defeating Republican Congressman Dana Rohrabacher, a 15-term incumbent. Prior to his election to Congress, Rep. Rouda was a technology entrepreneur, building and managing companies that are leaders in the sustainability movement. He lives in Laguna Beach with his wife, Kaira, and their four children.

Debbie Mucarsel-Powell | FL-26

Congresswoman Mucarsel-Powell represents Florida’s 26th Congressional District, which includes the Miami suburbs, the city of Homestead, and the Florida Keys as well as large areas that are uninhabited, including the Everglades National Park. She flipped this seat from red to blue in 2018 by unseating two-term Republican incumbent Carlos Curbelo. Congresswoman Mucarsel-Powell is a former Associate Dean of the College of Medicine at Florida International University and a first-generation immigrant from Ecuador. She has dedicated more than twenty years to improving access to health care, protecting the environment, and increasing educational opportunities in South Florida. Congresswoman Mucarsel-Powell is married to Robert Powell, an attorney, and together they have two children.

Lucy McBath | GA-06

Congresswoman McBath represents Georgia’s 6th Congressional District, which encompasses the suburbs north of Atlanta. She flipped this seat from red to blue in 2018 by defeating Republican incumbent Congresswoman Karen Handel, who won in the 2017 special election. Congresswoman McBath is a mother, wife, and businesswoman who became an advocate for social justice following the fatal shooting of her son, Jordan Davis. After a 30-year career with Delta Air Lines, her second career has been focused on fighting for safer communities and reducing gun violence. Congresswoman McBath is also a two-time breast cancer survivor who is now fighting to ensure everyone has access to affordable care.

Abby Finkenauer | IA-01

Congresswoman Finkenauer represents Iowa’s 1st Congressional District, which covers the northeastern part of the state and includes the cities of Dubuque, Cedar Rapids, and Waterloo. She flipped this seat from red to blue in 2018 by defeating Freedom Caucus member Congressman Rod Blum. A first-generation college graduate, Congresswoman Finkenauer comes from a working-class family; her father was a union pipefitter-welder and her mother retired from the Dubuque Community School District. Prior to her election to Congress, she represented Dubuque in the State House and received the 2017 “Rising Star Award” from the Democratic Activist Women’s Network.

Cindy Axne | IA-03

Congresswoman Axne represents Iowa’s 3rd Congressional District, which is located in the southwest part of the state and encompasses Des Moines and Council Bluffs. She flipped this seat from red to blue in 2018 by unseating Republican incumbent Congressman David Young. Prior to her election, Congresswoman Axne worked for nearly a decade in state government to hold it accountable and successfully advocated for all-day kindergarten for every child in West Des Moines. Additionally, she and her husband, John, operated a digital design firm. Together, they have two teenage sons.

Lauren Underwood | IL-14

Congresswoman Underwood represents Illinois’ 14th Congressional District, a suburban and exurban district west of Chicago. She flipped this seat from red to blue in 2018, defeating 4-term Republican incumbent Congressman Randy Hultgren. Congresswoman Underwood is the first woman, person of color, and young adult to serve this district and the youngest black woman to serve in Congress. As a registered nurse and healthcare expert, she brings a critical perspective to Congress. A hard worker, she has proven herself to be an effective leader: she has authored dozens of pieces of legislation, passed 12 through the House, and had 2 signed into law, all in her first year in Congress. Prior to her election, Congresswoman Underwood spent her career implementing the ACA and was appointed by President Obama to serve as a Senior Advisor at the Department of Health and Human Services, where she helped communities prevent, prepare for, and respond to disasters, bioterror threats, and public health emergencies.

Sharice Davids | KS-03

Congresswoman Davids represents Kansas’ 3rd Congressional District, which is largely located within the Kansas City Metropolitan Area and includes all of Wyandotte and Johnson Counties, as well as part of Miami County. She flipped this seat from red to blue in 2018, unseating Republican incumbent Congressman Kevin Yoder. Congresswoman Davids was raised by her mom, a single parent who spent more than 20 years in the Army. After graduating from Johnson County Community College, she earned her law degree from Cornell Law School and focused her career on bringing equity and opportunity to underserved communities. Congresswoman Davids has lived and worked on Native American reservations, helping tribes to create economic development opportunities, programs, and initiatives. She is a member of the Ho-Chunk Nation.

Jared Golden | ME-02

Maine’s Second Congressional District is located north of metropolitan Portland and spans the whole state up to the Canadian border. The district includes the cities of Bangor, Lewiston, and Auburn, and spans three media markets — Portland–Auburn, Bangor, and Presque Isle — as well as 11 counties. This is a true swing district — Secretary Clinton lost this district after it voted for Democratic Congressman Mike Michaud for over a decade and President Obama in both 2008 and 2012. Maine has a strong electoral history of electing Democrats to office. Congressman Jared Golden beat Republican Bruce Poliquin in 2018 due to their stark contrast. Jared grew up in Lewiston, Maine, and enlisted in the United States Marine Corps after September 11, serving combat tours in Iraq and Afghanistan. After earning his college education through veterans education benefits, Jared served in the Maine Legislature. As a State Representative, Jared passed legislation to improve mental health care for veterans and first responders, stood up for working families, and fought for affordable and accessible healthcare.

Angie Craig | MN-02

Congresswoman Craig represents Minnesota’s 2nd Congressional District, which contains the south Twin Cities metropolitan area and all of Scott, Dakota, Goodhue, and Wabasha counties, as well as parts of Rice and Washington counties. She flipped this seat from red to blue in 2018 following a rematch campaign against Republican Congressman Jason Lewis, to whom she lost in 2016 by less than two points. Growing up in a mobile home park, Congresswoman Craig did not expect her life to lead to a run for Congress. She watched her mother work for nearly 10 years to get her college education. Congresswoman Craig inherited that perseverance, working two jobs while earning her degree from the University of Memphis and later going on to become an executive at two companies. She and her wife, Cheryl Greene, have four sons.

Andy Kim | NJ-03

Congressman Kim represents New Jersey’s 3rd Congressional District, which is located Southern New Jersey, just outside Philadelphia. He flipped this seat from red to blue in 2018 by defeating Republican incumbent Congressman Tom MacArthur. Congressman Kim is a national security expert and a Rhodes Scholar who served two years as President Obama’s Director for Iraq in the White House National Security Council. He previously served at the Pentagon where he helped our nation build a strong military and provide for the men and women in our armed forces, and also served in Afghanistan as strategic adviser to General David Petraeus.

Xochitl Torres Small | NM-02

Congresswoman Torres Small represents New Mexico’s 2nd Congressional District, which encompasses the entire southern half of the state and is the largest non-at-large district in the country. She flipped this seat from red to blue in 2018, following the retirement of Republican incumbent Congressman Steve Pearce. Congresswoman Torres Small, a water attorney and former staffer for Senator Tom Udall, was a first-time candidate for public office. She brings a wealth of experience to Congress, having worked in the public, private, and non-profit sectors, and having clerked for a New Mexico federal judge with one of the heaviest criminal dockets in the country. Congresswoman Torres Small lives in Las Cruces with her husband, a member of the New Mexico House of Representatives.

Susie Lee | NV-03

Congresswoman Lee represents Nevada’s 3rd Congressional District, located in the area south of Las Vegas, including Henderson and unincorporated Clark County. This seat was an important Democratic hold in 2018 following Democratic incumbent Congresswoman Jacky Rosen’s run for U.S. Senate. Prior to her election, Congresswoman Lee worked as a non-profit leader and education advocate. She founded several non-profits in Las Vegas, including The After-School All- Stars, an organization that provides Nevada children with after-school activities and enrichment programs. Additionally, Congresswoman Lee led the Communities in Schools of Nevada, an organization that uses community resources to enrich public schools.

Steven Horsford | NV-04

Born and raised in Nevada, Steven Horsford has been fighting for working families for his entire career. He led the state’s largest career training program helping thousands of workers find good jobs, and made history as Nevada’s first African-American Senate Majority Leader. There, he worked across party lines to pass landmark legislation to create clean energy jobs and solve the worst budget crisis in state history. In 2012, Horsford ran and won this congressional seat and fought for legislation that protected seniors, veterans, and women, serving in Congress from 2012 to 2014. After his time in Congress, Steven became a small-business owner and worked for a business and marketing consulting firm. Steven ran again for Congress in 2018, and currently serves as a fierce defender in Congress, fighting to lower prescription drug costs.

Max Rose | NY-11

New York’s 11th Congressional District has long been a target for Democrats. Covering all of Staten Island and the southern tip of Brooklyn, this urban district has been a swing seat for over a decade. President Obama carried the district in 2012, while Donald Trump won it in 2016. Congressman Max Rose is a U.S. Army veteran, a member of the National Guard, and the former chief of staff for nonprofit Brightpoint Healthc. Max was deployed to Afghanistan from 2012 to 2013, where he served as an active-duty officer, earning a Bronze Star, Purple Heart, and Combat Infantryman Badge. Max is the first post-9/11 combat veteran to hold elected office in New York City. Following his military service, Max worked as Director of Public Engagement and Special Assistant to late Brooklyn District Attorney Ken Thompson, where he helped develop nationally recognized programs to restore trust between the justice system and the community.

Antonio Delgado | NY-19

Congressman Delgado represents New York’s 19th Congressional District, which covers 11 counties and stretches across the Hudson Valley in upstate New York. He flipped this seat from red to blue in 2018 by defeating incumbent Republican Congressman John Faso. Born and raised in Schenectady to a working-class family, Antonio Delgado is a native of upstate New York. His parents worked for General Electric and demonstrated the value of hard work—this commitment to the community led Rep. Delgado to earn a Rhodes Scholarship to Oxford while attending Colgate University before receiving a law degree from Harvard University. Rep. Delgado would go on to start his own company designed to empower young people through music and to work as an attorney in the complex commercial space, while devoting time to pro bono work in association with criminal justice reform. Rep. Delgado’s multitude of experience allows him to find common ground with colleagues in Congress where he focuses on creating a robust local economy for his constituents in upstate New York and expanding access to affordable healthcare options. Rep. Delgado and his wife, Lacey, live in Rhinebeck, where they are raising their young twin boys.

Anthony Brindisi | NY-22

Anthony Brindisi represents New York’s 22nd Congressional District which stretches from the shores of Lake Ontario to the Pennsylvania border and includes the cities of Utica, Rome, Binghamton, and Cortland. Starting on the Utica School Board and then winning a Special Election to the New York State Assembly, Brindisi’s strong ties to the district and reputation as a consensus-builder made him a strong competitor in 2018. He defeated first-term Republican Claudia Tenney, one of Donald Trump’s most vocal supporters, in a district that Trump carried by 15.5%. Tenney has announced plans for a rematch, but Brindisi’s 60% in-district approval rating, independent voting record, work ethic, and ability to deliver results will make this one of the most closely watched races of 2020.

Kendra Horn | OK-05

Congresswoman Horn represents Oklahoma’s 5th Congressional District, which includes most of Oklahoma County and all of Pottawatomie and Seminole counties. She flipped this seat from red to blue in 2018 by defeating Republican incumbent Steve Russell. FiveThirtyEight.com said Rep. Horn’s win was the biggest upset in the nation. Prior to her election, Congresswoman Horn ran two nonprofits focused on developing leadership skills and encouraging women to run for public office. Additionally, she worked in the aerospace industry (Oklahoma’s second largest public-sector employer) and as an attorney.

Susan Wild | PA-07

Congresswoman Wild represents Pennsylvania’s 7th Congressional District, a newly redistricted seat that includes all of Lehigh County and Northampton County, as well as parts of Monroe County. In 2018, she flipped this seat, previously held by Republican Congressman Pat Meehan, from red to blue. Congresswoman Wild is a well-respected lawyer specializing in health care, civil rights, and employment law. Prior to her election to Congress, the Allentown City Council unanimously appointed her to serve as the Solicitor of the City of Allentown, the first woman to hold the position. Congresswoman Wild is the mother of two adult children, Clay and Adrienne. She resides in South Whitehall Township, PA.

Joe Cunningham | SC-01

South Carolina’s 1st Congressional District runs from Charleston to Hilton Head and includes parts of Beaufort, Berkeley, Colleton, Charleston and Dorchester. Congressman Joe Cunningham is a former ocean engineer, construction attorney, and father. Joe is the youngest of five siblings and worked his way through school by working on tugs and barges. Joe ran for Congress to stand up for what is right and is tired of the us versus them mentality in Washington. He opposes offshore drilling and has been endorsed by local mayors from both political parties. Joe lives in West Ashley with his wife, Amanda; their son, Boone; and rescue dog, Teddy.

Lizzie Fletcher | TX-07

Congresswoman Fletcher represents Texas’ 7th Congressional District, which includes parts of Houston and its suburbs, and is contained entirely within Harris County and the Houston media market. She flipped this seat from red to blue in 2018 by defeating Republican incumbent Congressman John Culberson. Prior to her election, Congresswoman Fletcher was her law firm’s first female partner. Additionally, she co-founded Planned Parenthood Young Leaders to recruit a new generation of leaders, and volunteered her legal services to help Texas Appleseed with critical research in their work to dismantle the school-to-prison pipeline. Congresswoman Fletcher is married to Scott Fletcher, also an attorney.

Colin Allred | TX-32

Born in North Dallas and raised by a single mom who was a public school teacher, Colin Allred was an all-star athlete at Hillcrest High School and earned a full-ride football scholarship to Baylor University. Diploma in hand and prepared to attend law school, Colin deferred his acceptance to play in the NFL. He was a linebacker for five seasons before sustaining a career-ending injury. After the NFL, he fulfilled his dream of becoming a civil rights attorney, serving in the General Counsel’s office at the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development and as a voting rights litigator. Colin later returned home to Dallas and decided to run for office to represent the district he grew up in. As a member of Congress, Colin’s priorities include lowering healthcare costs for his constituents, expanding access to vocational and trade schools, and lowering the cost of college and reducing student loan debt. He believes in working across the aisle to achieve bipartisan legislation that will rebuild America’s roads and bridges, pass comprehensive immigration reform, and take care of our veterans. Colin was elected as co-president of the 116th Congressional Freshman Class, demonstrating his colleagues’ trust in his vision and leadership. Colin currently lives in Dallas with his wife, Alexandra, and son, Jordan.

Abigail Spanberger | VA-07

Congresswoman Abigail Spanberger represents Virginia’s 7th Congressional District. Rep. Spanberger began her career in public service as a federal law enforcement officer working on narcotics and money laundering cases with the US Postal Inspection Service. Rep. Spanberger then became a CIA operations officer, working overseas collecting intelligence and overseeing high-profile programs. Rep. Spanberger is the mother to three daughters and made the final decision to run for Congress when she saw her Congressman vote to repeal health care without considering the negative impact the bill would have on Virginia families like hers.

Rita Hart | Candidate, IA-02

Lifelong Iowan, farmer, and educator, Rita Hart is a proven fighter and ideal candidate to hold IA-02. Rita Hart grew up on a farm outside of Charles City, Iowa, with eight siblings, and knows the meaning of hard work and dedication. After graduating from North Iowa Area Community College and the University of Northern Iowa, Rita spent more than two decades teaching junior high and high school. In 2012, she was elected to the Iowa Senate, where she fought to improve the local economy, support workforce development, and attract good paying jobs to improve Iowans’ quality of life.

Betsy Dirksen Londrigan | Candidate, IL-13

Betsy Dirksen Londrigan’s roots in central Illinois go back generations. After graduating from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, Betsy returned home to Springfield where she worked as a nonprofit leader while raising three children. In 2009, Betsy’s son Jack developed a rare, life-threatening illness that left him fighting for his life. That experience left Betsy with a profound understanding of the importance of access to quality, affordable health care. It was Congressman Davis’ votes to raise the cost of health care and gut critical protections for families like hers that motivated her to run for Congress. She came within less than one point of unseating incumbent Republican Rodney Davis in 2018 and this razor-thin loss proves she is the candidate to turn this seat Blue.

Jackie Gordon | Candidate, NY-02

Jackie Gordon is a combat veteran, an educator, a public servant, and a community leader. She was born in Jamaica and grew up in Queens, New York. As a member of the Army Reserve, she served our country for 29 years – including four deployments – before retiring with the rank of Lieutenant Colonel in 2014. She was a dedicated and beloved guidance counselor at a public technical high school, mentoring and advising thousands of students throughout her 20-year career. She also served on the Babylon Town Council for nearly 13 years.

Eugene DePasquale | Candidate, PA-10

Eugene DePasquale grew up knowing that the deck is stacked against many working-class Pennsylvanians. Eugene’s youngest brother was diagnosed with Muscular Dystrophy and passed away after a long battle. That’s why protecting coverage for pre-existing conditions and affordable medicine are so personal to him. As the state’s Auditor General, Eugene has stood up to Big Pharma and investigated price gouging of seniors, nearly eliminated the rape kit backlog, and taken steps to combat the climate crisis.

Sri Preston Kulkarni | Candidate, TX-22

A Foreign Service Officer who represented America abroad under Presidents Bush and Obama, Sri Preston Kulkarni is ready to flip Texas’ open 22nd Congressional District. When President Trump divided Americans following the white supremacist march in Charlottesville, Virginia, Sri came home to TX-22 to run for Congress to bring people together in 2018. Campaigning in 16 languages across a quickly diversifying district, Sri expanded the electorate, grew the immigrant vote, and came within 14,000 votes of defeating Congressman Pete Olson.

Contributions or gifts to Hold the House Victory Fund are not tax deductible. The first 60% of each contribution from a person/multicandidate committee (“PAC”) will be allocated to DCCC, up to $35,500/$15,000, and the remaining 40% will be allocated evenly between Josh Harder for Congress, TJ Cox for Congress, Cisneros for Congress, Harley Rouda for Congress, Debbie for Congress, Friends of Lucy McBath Inc., Finkenauer for Congress, Cindy Axne for Congress, Lauren Underwood for Congress, Sharice for Congress, Committee to Elect Jared Golden, Angie Craig for Congress, Andy Kim for Congress, Xochitl for New Mexico, Susie Lee for Congress, Nevadans for Steven Horsford, Kendra Horn for Congress, Max Rose for Congress, Delgado for Congress, Brindisi for Congress, Susan Wild for Congress, Joe Cunningham for Congress, Elizabeth Pannill Fletcher for Congress, Colin Allred for Congress, Spanberger for Congress, Rita Hart for Iowa, Betsy Dirksen Londrigan for Congress, Jackie Gordon for Congress, DePasquale for PA 10, and Sri for Congress (each, a “candidate”). Any additional amounts will first be allocated evenly among the candidates, up to the candidates’ legal limits. Any amounts still remaining will be allocated to DCCC’s recount fund and then to DCCC’s building fund, up to the legal limits. The first $2,800/$5,000 of a person/PAC’s contribution to each candidate will be allocated for use in the candidate’s primary election; the next $2,800/$5,000 will be allocated for use in the candidate’s general election; however, if a candidate’s primary election has already occurred, the first $2,800/$5,000 will be allocated for use in the candidate’s general election.
A contributor may designate his or her contribution for a particular participant. The allocation formula above may change if following it would result in an excessive contribution.
