North Carolina’s 6th (NC - 06)

Updated: September 12, 2022

Overview

Christian Castelli’s extreme, partisan agenda will hurt North Carolina families.

Summary

Voters need to see on TV, OTT, YouTube and other digital ads that:

  • Christian Castelli would join with Washington Republicans who have tried at least 70 times to cut health care for 23 million Americans, including 670,000 in North Carolina, to gut protections for those with preexisting conditions, to allow insurance companies to charge older Americans five times as much for their health care as others, and to raise health insurance premiums.

Voters who care about choice need to receive mail and see digital ads that say:

  • Castelli supports banning abortion from the moment of conception and supported the overturn of Roe v. Wade. He supports allowing states to outlaw abortion, even in the case of rape, incest, and when the life of the mother is at risk. He even supports allowing states to punish women and doctors.

Black voters need to hear on the radio, receive mail, and see YouTube and other digital ads that say:

  • In contrast, Kathy Manning is standing up for what’s right: protecting a woman’s right to make her own health care decisions, protect access to birth control, and working to cap drug prices including capping insulin at $35 a month.
