Vulnerable Michigan Republican Congressman Tim Walberg voted against a bipartisan budget deal that passed overwhelmingly in the House of Representatives today. The budget deal not only avoids economic disaster, it was supported by seniors groups nationwide for protecting millions of seniors from higher Medicare rates.
“Congressman Tim Walberg’s vote against the bipartisan budget is an example of just how out of touch he is,” said Sacha Haworth of the DCCC. “Michiganders deserve bipartisan leadership, not political games that would put our economy and our national security at risk.”
