House Republicans hold a Ways and Means committee hearing to make a case for extending their massive handout to the ultra wealthy
Yesterday, Brian Fitzpatrick and House Republicans on the Ways and Means Committee once again worked to pacify Donald Trump’s demand to bail out the ultra rich at the expense of working families.
Fitzpatrick remains determined to put politics over people and extend the GOP Tax Scam of 2017. By all objective measures, the scam – which Fitzpatrick voted for – offered nothing but lies to working families, who saw no change in earnings, while top executive salaries increased sharply.
If the Fitzpatrick’s Tax Scam was extended or made permanent, it would disproportionately benefit the top 5% of income earners.
