Today, the DCCC released a new TV ad in the race for OH-09, “Aggravated,” highlighting Derek Merrin’s support for a total abortion ban that would jail women and children and charge them with aggravated abortion murder.
In the statehouse, Merrin “shepherded” a six-week abortion ban as chair of the Ohio House Health Committee, and co-sponsored a total abortion ban with no exceptions for rape, incest, or a woman’s life.
The ad – the fourth to run in OH-09 from the DCCC IE – is airing in the Toledo media market beginning today and is part of the committee’s previously announced investments in key battleground districts.
