Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee Chairman Ben Ray Luján released the following statement regarding the House Republican Budget:
“A budget is a reflection of priorities and this budget makes crystal clear what Republican’s priorities are: slash investments for the middle class, make it harder for students to go to college, and jeopardize seniors’ retirement. Over the last two months, voters across the country have seen a Republican Congress plagued by dysfunction and gridlock, now they see a Republican Congress who will continue to prioritize special interests above hard working New Mexicans and Americans.”
