Representative Rodney Frelinghuysen spent yesterday making local and national headlines for all the wrong reasons. The Republican contacted his constituent’s employer directly about her activism. She eventually resigned after being “interrogated” by her employer.
“Representative Frelinghuysen abused the power of his office by targeting a private citizen for exercising her 1st amendment rights,” said DCCC Spokesman Evan Lukaske. “His unethical actions show exactly why his long run in Washington is coming to an end.”
