Congressman Mike Fitzpatrick has been clear about his attempt to pass his seat on to his brother, Brian, but he has done so mostly behind the camera. In a new ad yesterday, Mike Fitzpatrick moved in front of the camera to complete the dirty work of Republican Party bosses, who want to paper over California transplant-Brian Fitzpatrick’s unabashed cross-country relocation to Pennsylvania to run for the seat held by his retiring big brother. And paper over his brother’s past support for the reckless Donald Trump.
“Mike Fitzpatrick’s down-the-stretch plea for his brother won’t be enough to paper over the fact that Brian was ‘handpicked’ by party bosses to fill the seat of his own brother because of their shared last name.
