Congressman Mike Coffman and some of his Republican colleagues were real trailblazers – leading the charge on ending birthright citizenship. Now we see the movement to end birthright citizenship catching on with a growing number of Republican presidential candidates.
“Congressman Coffman has built a career of supporting out-of-touch and divisive policies including an end to birthright citizenship,” said DCCC Spokesman Tyler Law. “In a presidential election cycle, where Republicans at the top of the ticket are doing everything possible to destroy their reputation with immigrant communities, Coffman won’t be able to hide his true record.”
